Objective: To offer prospective buyers the opportunity to decide what they want in their horse prior to breeding. Whether they want a show performance horse, dressage horse, trailriding partner, or just a family horse. The discipline and sires selected will determine the purchase price.

We have set out to increase awareness in Missouri about the history and culture about the Arabian, Andalusian, and Hispano-Arabe breeds. The Arabian and the Andalusian are two of the oldest and purest breeds still in existence. Almost all other breeds can trace their ancestories back to one or both of these breeds. People have been cross-breeding Andalusian and Arabians for hundreds of years, thus the breed Hispano-Arabe, and is remarkably more known in Europe and Canada.

Selections will be few as I am focusing on quality and not quantity as well as giving the horses one-on-one attention.

Organizations of Special Interest to HSM.

Hispano-Arabe Registry & Association: The Hispano-Arabe is the result of breeding a purebred, registered Andalusian to a purebred, registered Arabian. This Andalusian-Arabian cross ideally produces an intelligent, level-headed, bold-moving horse of superb quality and presence. This organization was developed to represent this breed as well as their breeders.

The North American Trail Ride Conference (NATRC) is one of a number of competitive trail ride organizations in the United States. A competitive trail ride is not a race, but competitors cover a marked course in a given period of time.

The Iberian Warmblood Registry of America, Inc., is a registry for horses having a minimum of 50% Iberian (Andalusian or Lusitano) bloodlines. The American Warmblood Society (AWS) is an international, non-profit Performance Registry, whose only goal and purpose is to represent, promote, award and aid in the development of an Olympic quality Equine Competitor worldwide. The time has come to produce and promote our own sport horses, the American Warmblood. By monitoring breeding through Inspections and performance the AWS ensures the selective breeding of the ideal sport horse, a sport horse that is noble and correctly built of the modern type and is capable of superior performance in the Olympic disciplines.

Malabar Duke!
Malabar Duke: Park Class Winner at Casper Wyoming 1973

My Black Arabian Breeding Program is focused around the athletic, performance bloodlines of Malabar Duke, Prince Ebony, and Hallany Mistanny.   Hallany Mistanny was the grandsire of Malabar Duke through the dam, Mistanny Ann.  Malabar Duke and Prince Ebony were the prize horses of the Malabar Farms in Modesto, CA and owned and operated by Dr. Ruth Schmidt.

The offspring from these horses are winning in various aspects of shows, events, competitions like the FEI Dressage, Trailriding, Park Class shows, Western shows, English, Hunter/Jumper shows and many other events.
